Nicolò Giammaria graduated in Law from LUISS – Guido Carli University in Rome, with a thesis in International Law analyzing the phenomenon of foreign fighters in both international and non-international armed conflicts.

He subsequently obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International and Comparative Law from The George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C. (USA).

Since January 2020, he has been admitted to practice law in the State of New York (USA) as an Attorney and Counselor-at-Law and is a member in good standing of the New York Bar.

He is also a member of the New York State Bar Association.

Since December 2023, he has been registered with the Rome Bar Association.

During his professional career, Nicolò Giammaria has gained significant experience in intellectual property, contract law, insurance law, blockchain technology, corporate law, personal data protection (privacy), and anti-money laundering legislation.

He teaches in the Master’s degree program in Arts Management at the European Institute of Design (IED) in Rome, with a focus on contracts for the commercialization of intellectual property rights.

He also provides specialized training on cybersecurity, personal data protection, and current GDPR legislation for staff of the Rome Chamber of Commerce.
