Francesco Rizzo

Francesco Rizzo graduated from Sapienza University of Rome with an experimental thesis in Comparative Private Law and subsequently obtained a Master’s degree in European Private Law from the same university.

He is admitted to practice before the Italian Supreme Court of Cassation (Corte di Cassazione) and has been a member of the Rome Bar Association since 2013.

After gaining significant experience in civil litigation and compliance matters – including privacy, antitrust, and related regulatory fields – he specialized in intellectual property and innovation law.

His practice focuses in particular on the identification, protection, and enhancement of companies’ intangible assets, as well as on legal aspects connected with measures aimed at facilitating and incentivizing innovation.

Francesco Rizzo regularly lectures at universities on the demarcation of intangible assets and delivers training on ESG-related topics for public administration personnel.

He also collaborates with several acceleration and innovation programs for start-ups and small and medium-sized enterprises, particularly in the space economy (Takeoff Accelerator – Mentor), dual-use and defense technologies (Dual Tech – Legal Expert), digital innovation (Frontech – Mentor), and sport and wellness technologies (We Sport Up – Mentor).
